My Background Story
My name is Mogens and I’m from Denmark.
At an early age, I developed a big interest for entrepreneurship and for optimizing online stores.
This means I’ve actually worked with conversion rate optimization before the abbreviation CRO was common. I’ve also started several businesses.
However, the last couple of years, my focus has been on just one business – the SaaS company, Sleeknote, that I co-founded and which I’m now CEO for.
For me, Sleeknote has become the perfect combination of entrepreneurship and optimization of online stores since this is exactly what Sleeknote does. We have more than 1,000 customers in 40 different countries and our team has just reached 20 employees.
My Approach to Speaking at Events
As a speaker, I see it as my finest responsibility to give the audience a memorable experience that gives them a lot of concrete ideas but also inspires them and makes them reflect on whether their current way of doing their job can be optimized in any way.
I realize this is an awfully ambitious mission, but that is exactly why I always prepare my presentations thoroughly and think every detail through.
My experience is that this results in top-ratings from the audience which is ultimately my goal.
